Significance of the Design
Green and gold colours (signify the Australian bush, particularly wattle in the spring), are the officially accepted traditional colours many Australian sporting teams.
The flag consists of a stylized Australian golden wattle flowers (signifying a flowering society) in the shape of the Southern Cross (signifying our southern hemisphere location and continuity with the current flag), with a single leaf (signifying one people of many backgrounds and ethnicities), on a single branch (signifying a united destiny) on the green background of the Australian bush (signifying the eco-friendly orientation of the future Australian society).
The floral theme is non-violent, eco-friendly and does not depict animals (many of which are subject to periodic hunting).
The stylized design and limit of thee colours is intended to be simple to replicate and fabricate.
